TeamMate is an app prototype I created after realizing a gap in a world with so many sports apps. I noticed that to get all the information I need for the season, I required three different apps. So, I decided to combine these apps and make the perfect companion for every sports fan, right in their pocket. The key information in the app would allow you to keep up with league and team news, track records and standings in the league, and see which players were on injured reserve and when they were projected to return (a perfect resource for every fantasy sports player). I was also responsible for designing the UI and motion design of the app. My idea was to place all information on the app on “cards” that you could shuffle through as if they were actually in your hand. These movements are a reference to sports trading cards.
